Hi, I am Rhianna
Having worked in the corporate world for many years I turned to Yoga when I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed, trying to juggle work and a young family.
Yoga helped me gain clarity, giving me the space to make better choices and improve my overall physical and mental health. I came out of classes feeling invigorated, somehow taller and generally a happier person, allowing me to be a better parent, my best at work and the world.
My inquisitive mind led me down the path of exploration and wanting to learn more including the philosophy, I undertook various workshops and courses for myself and finally took the leap into my teacher training with The British Wheel of Yoga. With no plan of where it would lead I just knew that I wanted to pass on what I had learnt and how Yoga can benefit us both physically and mentally.
It feels like the completion of a cycle in my life and the beginning of a new cycle. A new fulfilled beginning and an opportunity to inspire and pass on the love of Yoga to others and how it can help us in our life both on and off the mat and how we connect with the world around us.
About Nine Yoga
Welcome to Nine Yoga which was born out of my association with the number 9. In numerology the number 9 is powerful and is said to have a spiritual significance. It represents completion although not a final ending – rather more a journey which I consider my path of yoga; forever discovering and learning.
My past has always had strong connection with the number 9. I now live at No.9 where my studio is located so it seemed only natural to call it Nine Yoga.
